Rectangular box with canted corners, the cover and base with panels engraved with an engine-turned vertical zig-zag pattern framed by bands of white enamelled basse-taille stylized gold flowers within light-blue enamel bands, the sides enamelled in translucent blue on a similarly engine-turned gold ground bordered with bands of gold foliage paillons, the eight corners with gold pilasters on a light-blue enamelled ground flanking basse-taille gold husks on opaque white enamelled panels
