Oval box, the cover inset with a silver-mounted mandorla-shaped slightly concave enamel plaque of wavy outline painted with a flowerspray on a translucent blue ground on a radiating guilloché panel, framed by an opaque white band, surrounded by a translucent blue cloisonné border engraved with translucent green enamelled gold leaves and vari-colour enamelled gold flowers, the sides and base chased with a geometrical pattern of interlaced circles and scrolling foliage on an enamelled translucent dark blue ground on an engine-turned base
