A Continental porcelain plate
French or Italian, the centre painted with a group of Italian brigands before a tree with a captured gentleman, bordered with a band of gilt husks and broad gilt-line rim, inscribed to the reverse Briganti and Giovani in Napoli, circa 1820 (some wear and hairline crack) -- 23cm. diam.
