A Meissen group of Bacchus and a putto
modelled by J.J. Kaendler, as an element from a centrepiece, the God in a lioness's pelt, seated on a barrel raising a goblet, a putto is filling a flagon from the barrel at his feet, on a scroll moulded shaped base, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1750 (damages and restoration) -- 27cm. high; and a figure of a mandolin player modelled by J. J. Kaendler, wearing a white coat and puce waistcoat and breeches, seated on a rocky mound and shaped base, indistinct blue crossed swords mark, circa 1745 (damages and restoration) -- 13.2cm. high
