of oval form with pulled sides, the clear glass overlaid in deep maroon mottled with amethyst and blue, acid-etched and carved with a grasshopper amongst scrolling ferns, elaborate moulded and engraved mark 'Cristallerie d'E. Gallé modele et decor depose' with a butterfly and ferns -- 22cm. high
