Each with a serpentine-fronted moulded triangular top inlaid with a foliage spray, above four simulated small drawers, on square legs, one side of the reverse open, previously with faced block feet, weighted with lead

Lot Essay

The attribution to Wright and Elwick of these rare corner bedside tables is based on their use of unusual timbers and the distinctive crossed palm inlay in the top which is almost identical to those on the tops of the commode in the following lot 65.
