the American wares, each marked 'Sterling', comprising a water pitcher and four glass-bottom mugs, each mug monogrammed 'BW', marked Allan Adler, six beakers, each monogramed 'BW', marked Whiting & Co., and a trophy tray in the 'Rose Point' pattern with an engraved dedication, marked Wallace; the Danish service comprising seven dinner knives with steel blades, seven butter spreaders, eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, eight cake forks, eight cocktail forks, eight soup spoons, and eight teaspoons, each monogrammed 'W', Sterling, Denmark; together with two napkin holders, monogrammed 'BW' and 'AW', marked Birmingham, 1946
