One with mark of Diederik Lodewijk Bennewitz, Amsterdam, 1803; the other Amsterdam, 1803, possibly by the same; also struck with a later Dutch duty mark
Each on a navette-shaped octagonal base, with canted tapering stem, the vase-shaped socket with detachable navette-shaped nozzle, the base and rims with beaded borders, the base engraved with a crouching cat, marked on the footrims
