IN THE MANNER OF WILLIAM TROTTER, FIRST HALF 19TH CENTURY
The ripple-moulded frieze with two drawers above a square section support carved with stiff-leaf foliage, on a plinth with gadrooned bun feet, areas of simulated rosewood, the underside of one drawer inscribed, DJ(?) Ferguson reconditioned/this table in July 1929/after same being abused in the Estate office/for over 30 years, the other inscribed, DJ Ferguson/12th July 1929
