MARK OF SAMUEL WATTON SMITH AND CO., LONDON, 1904
Of octagonal lighthouse form with a central reeded band and on slightly spreading foot, the pierced cover with a fluted ball finial, engraved with initial 'A' below a viscount's coronet
8 in. (20 cm.) high
The initial is that of Charles Robert Spencer, Viscount Althorp and later 6th Earl Spencer (1857-1922).
