Opera quae extant omnia. Commentariis illustrabat Samuel Horsley. London: Joannes Nichols, 1779-1785. 5 volumes, 4° (293 x 235mm). 33 engraved plates only (of 34), woodcut diagrams throughout. (Lacking half-titles, one plate in vol. IV and the blank Y4 in vol. III, clean tear affecting 5 lines of text to leaf Bb2 in vol. V, light waterstaining in a few margins of vol.IV, occasional minor spotting and marginal soiling throughout, a little stronger in vol.V.) Contemporary diced calf (rebacked, front cover of vol.IV detached). Provenance: Royal Institution of Great Britain (gilt library stamps on spines).
