FIRST EDITION OF TZARA'S FIRST BOOK AND ONE OF THE FIRST DADA PUBLICATIONS. DADAIST GUILLERMO DE TORRE'S COPY, SIGNED BY BOTH TZARA AND TORRE IN 1919 the year that the two collaborated, with Borges, in composing automatic poetry. Antipyrine is also the first book illustrated by Janco. With two manuscript corrections, probably in Tzara's hand, on page 13. One of a small, unspecified number of copies, this one in the original wrappers, and preserved in a fine case by Cambras. The Artist and the Book 135; Berggruen 1.
