The pierced backplate with foliate scrolls, flanked by twin side columns, each supporting a conical oil font, over and a horizontal row of eight domed oil cups, the front of the base inscribed in Hebrew ‘Ha-nerot hallalu anachnu madlikin’ (‘These lights we kindle’), apparently unmarked
