Last chance to see The George Michael Collection at Christie’s

After touring to New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Shanghai, the singer’s art collection is attracting thousands of visitors to our London HQ ahead of its sale on 14 March

It’s your last chance to enjoy the exhibition of The George Michael Collection  at Christie’s historic King Street HQ, which showcases the art the singer collected and lived with, as well as special installations that celebrate his remarkable life and career.

Thousands of art collectors and George Michael fans have travelled from across the world to see the exhibition, which opened on Saturday and is free to the public. The show is open until 8pm on Wednesday 13 March, until 3pm on Thursday 14 March (the day of the auction), and then opens for a final time on the morning of Friday 15 March.

Admission to the exhibition is free and the opening hours are 9am-4.30pm on Tuesday 12 March; 9am-8pm on Wednesday 13 March, 9am-3pm on Thursday 14 March, and 9am-12 noon on Friday 15 March

Alongside his stunning collection of 20th and 21st-century British art, visitors can enjoy George Michael’s music, which is played throughout the building; his voice, delivered in sound installations of insightful quotes in certain galleries; and artefacts from his career, including the speaker chair from the iconic Fastlove  video and stage costumes from the Freeek! video.

Proceeds from the auction will continue the star’s extraordinary philanthropic legacy. We look forward to welcoming you to King Street and in the meantime, offer this taster of what’s in store.
