Ensayo del lote

"Fernando Amorsolo is a name to remember in the history of art here. He has arrived, a challenge to established reputations, a rival whom the gods have chosen to outdistance his contemporaries. And the years that shall blossom with the creations of his hands will record the praises of the people of his land."

Alfredo Roces, The citizen newspaper, 18 December 1919
