Ensayo del lote

The quest to negate gravity's distorting effect on a watch's accuracy has been a central pursuit of horology, historically dominated by the tourbillon—a rotating cage that aims to average out positional errors. In a bold departure from tradition, Roger Dubuis has pioneered an alternative. The Excalibur Quatuor exemplifies the innovative spirit of its manufacture, featuring a calibre developed over a seven-year research program. Its four tilted sprung balances, working in pairs at a 90° angle and linked by five differentials, instantly compensate for the effects of gravity by averaging the rate of each balance. The calibre is protected by three patents and the movement is certified by the Poinçon de Genève, a hallmark of high watchmaking excellence.
