Conveniently located in the historic Gallery Building at 49 Geary Street in the Union Square shopping district, Christie’s San Francisco works with collectors, institutions, galleries, and advisors from the Monterey Peninsula through the greater Pacific Northwest. Established in 1982 by current Chairman, West Coast Ellanor Notides, the office actively advises clients on the buying and selling of artwork, jewellery, watches, furniture, and more. The San Francisco office has overseen such notable consignments as Property from the Estate of Madeleine Haas Russell, The Walter and Phyllis Shorenstein Collection, Property from the Collection of Evelyn D. Haas, The Barney A. Ebsworth Collection, and the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson to name only a few. Christie’s San Francisco works closely with local cultural institutions and provides art collectors and art lovers access to world-class works from around the globe. Throughout the year, the office hosts touring exhibitions and engaging programming at the Bay Area’s finest art and culture destinations.

For the past 10 years Christie’s has been proud to support FOG Art + Design by bringing together thought-provoking films and panels.

This year Christie’s presents a screening of We Start With The Things We Find followed by a conversation with the founding partners of LOT-EK, Ada Tolla and Giuseppe Lignano, and moderated by Jennifer Dunlop Fletcher.
