As the first auction house to register a sale on a blockchain platform, Christie’s has maintained its position at the forefront of innovation in the art world. The Art+Tech Summit at Christie’s, an annual one-day conference, is part of an ongoing initiative to spark dialogue about the role and potential impact of emerging technologies in the art world. Launching in 2018 with an inaugural summit dedicated to blockchain, the series highlights a different technology each year, drawing the top minds and tech innovators from various industries for a programme of lectures, talks and panel discussions.
Past participants and attendees have included Artsy, Deloitte, the Serpentine Galleries, ConsenSys and the Financial Times.
