Highlights from The Private Collection of William S. Reese, will be on view at Christie’s San Francisco beginning 10 February. The sales which will take place in May 2022, feature such highlights as Paul Revere’s Bloody Massacre broadside, and the first New England broadside of the Declaration of Independence. The collection boasts an extensive catalogue of printed Americana and American Paintings after 1814, including John James Audubon’s contribution to Natural History and Travel.
