起床、健身、淋浴、更衣準備上班。今天是「石麗華的綠色服裝日」，配合她的拍賣焦點──翡翠。我沒有綠色領帶，以一條綠色手繩代替，就讓我當一天沙灘小伙子吧！

Wake up, head to the gym, then shower and dress for work. Today is “wear green for Vickie” day, as the star of our sale will be jade. I never owned a green tie, so will channel my inner beach bum with a green wristband.

享用早餐同時閱讀由巴黎速遞到港的《費加羅日報》，再翻閱瑰麗珠寶及翡翠首飾拍賣圖錄，然後逐一回覆自昨晚累積至今的123個電郵。

Breakfast while reading Le Figaro, browse the jewellery catalogue, then answer 123 emails received through the night.

開雲集團行政總裁暨佳士得股東 ── 弗朗克斯‧亨利‧皮諾特 (Francois-Henri Pinault) 蒞臨香港會議展覽中心，在拍賣廳為佳士得團隊的150名成員打氣，接著参觀各展覽，沿途與更多同事作近距離接觸。

有結果了！拍賣成交率高達89.5%，以成交額計算則達88.4%，刷新三項世界紀錄，進賬了9.1億港元/1.17億美元，創下亞洲最高價值珠寶拍賣成績。中國書畫及奉文堂珍藏的拍賣同樣成績斐然。 Rahul、 Vickie、 Ben及團隊，你們簡直是超級巨星！我很想放聲高歌…… 其實我真的在唱!

The results are out! HK$ 910m/ US$ 117m, 89% sold by lot, 88% by value, 3 world records… and the most valuable jewellery auction ever held in Asia! And the results of the Chinese paintings and Feng Wen Tang collection auctioned at the same time are equally spectacular. Rahul, Vickie, Ben and your teams you are superstars! I feel like singing out loud… and I do!

前往位於山頂的法國總領事官邸，參加弗朗克斯‧亨利‧皮諾特先生的歡迎晚宴，實在急不及待向他報喜。
去程中在車上清理電郵。抱歉未能在這裡提供晚宴的照片，在領事官邸胡亂拍照會否犯下間諜罪。

Off to the Peak for a dinner to honor Francois-Henri Pinault at the residence of the French Consul General. Can’t wait to deliver the wonderful news.
Clean up emails in the car on my way there. Rather not take pictures to avoid espionage charges.

回到家中。疲累得像在公園玩了整天的小孩，直奔到床上，還不忘花數分鐘玩「電子遊戲」，我指翻閱及回覆電郵。期待睡覺的一刻，也期待令人振奮的新一天來臨， 明天我們將舉行精緻名錶及中國工藝精品的拍賣。

Back home. Straight to bed like a kid after a day at the park, but not before a few minutes of “video games”, i.e. checking and responding to emails. Can’t wait to sleep, can’t wait to wake up to another exhilarating day either. On Wednesday it will be Watches and Chinese Works of Art.
