Andy William’s collection is eclectic, consisting of works which caught his eye and his imagination at various stages of his career, over a 60-year span beginning in the 1950s, with special emphasis on artists working in New York and Los Angeles, some of whom he knew: de Kooning (a favorite), Hofmann, Diebenkorn, Kline, Noland, Ruscha, Motherwell, Oldenburg and Basquiat.
