Tudor Davies, Head of the Impressionist and Modern Art department of Christie’s France, presents five exceptional works from the collection of the poet and art critic Jacques Dupin.
Highlights include works by Alberto Giacometti including an oil on canvas painted in 1958, Tête noire, and a bronze from 1954, Femme debout. Also presented is a series of experiments by Joan Miró made between 1970 and 1975 on unusual media.
These pieces will be offered at auction at Christie’s in Paris on 28 May.
