Assembled privately over forty years and comprising nearly 600 works, Radiant Modernism: Signac to Albers is a landmark collection of late 19th- to 20th-century art, distinguished by its rarity, quality, scholarly rigour and a forward gaze.

At its heart is Paul Signac and the artistic community that grew around the Salon des Artistes Indépendants; the collection explores one of the defining stories of modern art. From the Neo-Impressionists who revolutionised colour in the 1880s to later generations of artists who exhibited alongside, or were influenced by, the Salon's spirit of experimentation and artistic freedom, it follows a continuous thread through Symbolism, Expressionism and abstraction, culminating in later explorations of colour, perception and abstraction by Josef Albers. The result is a rich dialogue between artists connected not by a single style, but by shared ideas about colour, light, freedom and modernity.

Sales begin in London during Frieze Week 2026 before continuing in Paris, New York and throughout 2027.
