engraving, circa 1559-60, watermark Small High Crown, a fine, early impression of the first state (of two), printed in brownish ink, with the guidelines in the text still printing strongly, with wide margins, some foxing mainly in the margins, a band of old adhesive staining along the sheet edges at left and below, some pale stains and minor creases in the margins, a tiny worm track in the lower margin, the subject in very good condition
