Of Indo-Persian design, the rectangular-shaped case decorated with engravings of exotic flora and fauna including birds, elephants, tigers and gazelles, partially enamelled on both sides, opening to reveal a beveled mirror and a gold-coloured leather powder compartment, and three further compartments with leather purse and powder puff, to the lapiz lazuli and cabochon emerald push-piece, circa 1930, 14.9cm long, 10.3cm wide, 2.0cm high
