This necklace was made on order by Boivin for the present owner in the 1960s, using the unmounted diamonds she had provided and that came from her personal jewellery casket.

The front section set with five cushion-shaped diamonds, weighing 6.52, 8.07, 9.82, 9.16 and 5.57 carats, each in a baguette and circular-cut diamond frame, with diamond quatrefoil spacers, suspending a detachable circular and baguette-cut diamond fringe, to the diamond neckchain, circa 1960, 37.1 cm, with French assay marks for platinum and gold, in original brown suede fitted René Boivin case
