Mechanical lever movement, 17 jewels, silvered matte dial, applied dagger and dot numerals, concealed under a later hinged gold cover, octagonal case, snap on back, later ring band with forked shoulders, case, dial and movement signed

With original box and warranty dated 28th August 1968. With Fax copy from Montres Rolex SA dated 21 Jan. 1997 stating that this model reference 8403 with Caliber 6'' was manufactured from 1950 to 1952.
