In this painting entitled VARIATION TENDRE-TOURMALINE, Charles Hossein ZENDEROUDI offers a classical version of the mental map-making that he re-arranges in the course of creating his oeuvre. The artist here imposes opposite movements, intertwined graphic spaces, a deterritorialised freedom. Zenderoudi framed his composition tightly to convey an awkward sensation with the macro-micro-macro oscillation and to stir up the energy. Furthermore, in the French philosopher Michel Foucault's words, "il a tranché" by sweeping through the image with a drastic blue pigment, this blue colour that symbolises the boundless spatiality shared by all cultures.
(Marie Zenderoudi, 2014).
