The rectangular hinged lid over a rectangular chest, the whole decorated with polychrome-painted panels depicting figural vignettes in the style of Indian miniatures, on raised circular-turned feet, the decoration largely refreshed, with printed and inscribed Ann and Gordon Getty inventory label
