This drawing appeared on the cover of the October 1923 issue of Vogue (fig. 1). In association with an artful use of the Place Vendôme in the background, Lepape imposed the cloche hat and the garçonne style. For an introductive biography of the artist, see lot 123 *******.

Le présent dessin a ainsi figuré en couverture de Vogue pour l’édition d’octobre 1923 (fig. 1). Avec un art consommé de l’arrière-plan faisant figurer la place Vendôme, Lepape y impose le chapeau cloche et le style garçonne. Pour une biographie introductive de l'artiste, voir le lot 123 ********.
