Highlights include Pissarro's La gardeuse de vache from the Estate of Aniela Rubinstein, wife of the famous pianist Artur Rubinstein; Van Gogh's Weaver, Arranging Threads; and Odilon Redon's La coupe de mystère.

Picasso's Le peintre et son modèle is the star of the modern section that also features notable works by Braque and Léger, and Surrealist artists Picabia, Tanguy, Miro, Dali, and Masson.

Collectors interested in sculpture find a group of exciting works by Archipenko, Arp, Daumier, Degas, Hepworth, Laurens, Maillol, Moore and Rodin; as well as a selection of functional pieces by Diego Giacommetti.

The Fauve movement is showcased, among others, by André Derain's 1899 masterpiece Le jardin, off the market since circa 1916; and Valtat's Suzanne Valtat, le jardin d'Agay.
