A BACTRIAN BRONZE STAND
CIRCA LATE 3RD-EARLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
In the form of a shallow circular pan supported by three nude dwarfs interspersed with cylindrical pillars, on a ring base, each dwarf bandy-legged, standing with his arms raised and supporting the underside of the pan, each with a short fringe of hair at the forehead, long side-locks and a drooping mustache, a suspension loop on either side of the pan
4½ in. (11.4 cm.) high
