A black and gold three case inro decorated in hiramakie, takamakie, scattered nashiji and togidashi with a badger playing with a crab beside pierced rockwork, the reverse with butterflies in flight above breaking waves and rockwork, all on a roironuri ground, the eyes inlaid in glass and the interior nashiji, four silver himotoshi to the sides (miner rubbing, scratches and chips) -- 2¾.in. long.
