A BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' BRUSHWASHER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The brushwasher of circular shape and shallow sides is decorated in vibrant blue tones with a stylised lotus flower surrounded by four bats in flights, amongst dense lotus flower scrolls with curled leaves and tendrils, all within a decorative border below the rim.
