A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1810-1870
The well-painted bottle is decorated around the sides with a scene of a lady weaving silk seen through an open window, and with a farmer working a rice field with a buffalo. Five small bats (wufu) are painted inside the neck.
3 ¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high, porcelain stopper
