Two other examples of the present bronze can be found in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and the Skulpturensammlung of the Staaliche Museen in Berlin. The Berlin example was catalogued by Bode (loc. cit.) as coming from the school of the Venetian sculptor Antonio Lombardo, but in the revised edition, Draper relates it to the contemporary artist Maffeo Olivieri. Certainly in the facial type, the bronze is similar to other known works by Olivieri, including the bronze candelabrum in the basilica of San Marco, Venice.
