The vessel is cast in relief around the foot with two bow-string bands and again on the shoulder below the everted rim where they are interrupted by the pair of loop handles surmounted by animal heads and cast at the bottom with a pendent tab. A two-character inscription, Fu Gui (Father Gui) is crisply cast in the bottom of the interior. The bronze has a mottled reddish-brown and green patina.
