The hoop composed of wide flat band decorated with outer bands of beaded wire and six inner bands of twisted wire, the raised bezel comprising a tall four-petalled stem with a circular disc above, edged with beaded wire, set with a circular Roman jasper intaglio with gryllus consisting of two masks back to back, a horned Pan and a Silenus mask, the setting decorated with four gold loops
