One side with two confronting warriors, the warrior to the left wearing a crested helmet, a short chiton and greaves, holding a battle-axe and a shield with a wave pattern border, the warrior to the right wearing a multi-plumed helmet, a short chiton and greaves, holding a spear and a shield with a sunburst as the blazon; the other side with a horse galloping toward an Ionic column, its head turned back; a band of wave below the rim centered by a facing head, a band of alternating meander and palmettes below the scenes, an inverted palmette below one handle, an owl below the other, details in added white
