**A CARVED CAMEO JASPER SNUFF BOTTLE

Of rounded rectangular form, well carved on one side utilizing the ochre markings to create a design of a man riding a bactrian camel, with a pipe clutched in his left hand as he looks down at a dog, all against a reddish-brown ground with moss-green markings, the reverse uncarved and the stone of similar reddish-brown tone with a paler coral-red patch with thin veining forming concentric rings and a dark brown vein running in an 'S' pattern down from the neck to the foot, stopper
