A CARVED THREE-COLOR LACQUER OVAL DISH
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The shallow dish is carved on the interior with cell pattern encircled by a key-fret band. The rounded sides are carved from the red layer with four quatrelobe panels, each enclosing further cell patterns reserved on the black ground carved through to the ochre layer with wan emblems. The exterior is carved with a similar cell pattern, and the whole is raised on four short bracket feet.
