The reference to George Bullock is based on a gueridon featured in the Antiques Trade Gazette on 26 June 1993. The article illustrates one of a pair sold by Phillips Bath in the 13 June 1993 Hinton House sale and mentions a relating George Bullock invoice. A catalogue note from a comparable gueridon (Sotheby's NY, 16 Oct 1993), described as possibly by George Bullock, notes that the Hinton House pair featured one that was signed 'Bullock' in relief on one leg.

Comparable pieces also include a tripod table advertised by H. Blairman & Sons in Apollo in 1993 that was exhibited at the Grosvenor House Antiques Fair, although the advertisement doesn't state an attribution. In addition, Christies NY 16 April 1994 had a gueridon described 'as in the manner of George Bullock'. An identical one was sold Christies London 13 July 1989.
