A CELADON-GLAZED TRIPOD CENSER, 16TH CENTURY
of slightly flaring cylindrical form supported on three cabriole feet, incised in a wide band around the body with three stylised lotus flowers amongst foliage between two moulded raised horizontal ribs, all under an even glaze, an area of the unglazed base revealing the reddish body around a circular aperture -- 10¼ in. (26.5 cm.) diam.
