LONDON, 1675, MAKER'S MARK IH, A FLEUR-DE-LYS BELOW
Tapering cylindrical on spreading foot, the lower body chased with acanthus, with scroll handles, the detachable cover chased with foliage and with foliage wrapped with bud finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms, the cover engraved with a crest, marked underneath and inside cover
9½ in. (24 cm.) wide over handles
28 oz. 18 dwt. (900 gr.)
The arms are those of Skrymshaw of Norbury, co. Stafford impaling another.
