The front well carved and polychromed with figures in a palace compound of pavilions, terraces and courtyards, in one pavilion with dragon columns an official is being entertained by female dancers, while courtiers and soldiers wait in the courtyard below, and ladies pursue various activities in other pavilions and the gardens, all between various flowering plants and branches in the upper and lower panels and 'antiques' in the end panels, the reverse of each of the ten center panels with four different vignettes between mythical animals below and further 'antiques' above, the end panels with dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst clouds
