A Chinese gilt-bronze figure of Bhaisajyagura, the Medicine Buddha

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base, one hand holding a myrobalan fruit, the other held across his knee, the hair arranged in whorls above a rounded face with eyes downcast, lips with benevolent expression, wearing a draped robe exposing the bare torso, the garment edges chased with a floral pattern
