A comparable pagaoda model dated as circa 1785-92 is in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, (Rogers Fund, 58.73a). Two ivory pagodas in the 'China' Pavilion at Drottningholm, Sweden, are recorded in an inventory as early as 1744.
