A chrome plated silver vase for the French Line
Edgar Brandt and George Bastard, circa 1935
for the suites and the deluxe staterooms on-board the ocean liner S.S. Normandie, with a flared cylindrical body with the French Line logo 'CGT' impressed near the base, supported by open-work verticle bands on a circular band of metal spheres, raised on a weighted square base, stamped 'G. Bastard'.
