A collection of four Dutch silver 'apostle' spoons
One with the mark of Jan Papinck, Groningen, probably 1657/58, also struck with later Dutch duty mark, ZII; one apparently unmarked; probably Groningen, 17th Century; one with the mark of Harmen ter Beet, Appingedam, circa 1650; and one with maker's mark a flower
Each with fig-shaped bowl, the cast tapering stem with fruit-picking bird, the baluster top with a figure of an apostle, marked on bowls
17.9 cm. max.
