APPARENTLY UNMARKED, THE BASE POSSIBLY 18TH CENTURY, WITH LATER ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS, THE SILVER-GILT RECEPTICAL WITH MARKS FOR GEORGE FOX, LONDON, 1865 AND ANOTHER MAKER, 1920
The shaped base decorated with cupid mask and scroll motifs, with scroll and angel motif flying supports and two tiers, one with a non-matching silver-gilt receptical for the Host, the other with a detachable cover applied with the Holy monogram, all below an openwork crown with a cross motif - 30½in. (77.4cm.) high.
